· Represent and serve the community and allocate the parish resources accordingly.

How we do it

· By engaging with all stakeholders who have an interest in or influence on the parish, within the established legal framework of local government

· By listening to the community and reflecting views in the decisions we make

· The people who live in the parish and those who have an interest in the success of the community

Our Objectives

· Utilise the resources and assets available to the parish council to:

  · Keep parish clean, healthy and safe

  · Inform the community of local issues, developments and activities

  · Identify the need and, where required, support the proposal and creation of spaces in the parish where residents of all ages can come together to participate in sports, social, educational, wellbeing and other learning and leisure activities as well as access the services of the parish council

  · Establish and make use of a neighbourhood plan for the village that protects the unique rural and historic nature of the parish whilst recognising the future housing, education and infrastructure needs of the residents

  · Engage with transport, environment, health and education authorities to ensure where possible the needs of our residents are fully met

  · Welcome visitors to the village

  · Discourage antisocial behaviours by visitors or local residents

  · Ensure our historic, geographical and natural assets are identified and afforded protection so that they are preserved for the good of the parish
